Volunteer Spotlight: Make a Difference in Vallejo Little League

Vallejo Little League is more than just a sports program; it is a community built on the dedication of our families. To provide the best possible experience for our baseball and softball players (ages 4-13), we rely on the "all-hands-on-deck" spirit of our volunteers.

Whether you are a seasoned pro or a first-time parent, there is a place for you on our team.

Current Opportunities

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill the following roles:

• Umpires: Get the best seat in the house while ensuring fair play and sportsmanship.
• Scorekeepers: Help us keep the official record of the game (training provided!).
• Snack Shack: Support our league’s primary fundraiser while serving up smiles and stadium snacks.
• Field Prep & Maintenance: Help us keep our diamonds in top shape for safe and fun gameplay.
• Assistant Coaches: Support our head coaches in teaching fundamentals and teamwork.
• Team Moms/Parents: Act as the organizational heartbeat of the team, managing communications and snacks.

If you have a talent or professional skill we haven't listed—such as photography, carpentry, or event planning—we want to hear from you! If you see a need you can fill, we are happy to have the help.

How to Get Started

Safety is our top priority. All volunteers must be officially registered so we can conduct necessary background checks.

1. Register Online: Visit our Volunteer Registration Portal.
2. Complete the Form: Select the "Volunteer" option and fill out all required information
3. Background Check: Before you are placed in a role, we will send you a background check to complete

You are also welcome to join us at our next board meeting, held the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6pm at the American Legion Post 550 (420 Admiral Callaghan Ln).
