Volunteer with Vallejo Little League: Make a Difference

Thank you for being part of Vallejo Little League! Our league thrives because of dedicated parents like you who give their time and energy to support our players and programs. We invite you to get involved and help create a positive, fun, and well-run experience for all.

Volunteer Fee Program

As part of registration, a volunteer fee is required for each player. This fee is fully refundable upon completion of 10 hours of volunteer work per player in your family. This program helps ensure strong community participation and supports the smooth operation of our league.

How You Can Help

There are many ways to contribute your time and talents. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Concessions: Help run the snack bar during games
  • Umpiring: Officiate games (training provided)
  • Field Maintenance: Assist with preparing and caring for our fields
  • Scorekeeping: Keep official game records
  • Other Support Roles: Help with registration events, team coordination, and special activities

Register

To register as a volunteer, please follow these steps through our SportsConnect portal:

  1. Visit our Registration Portal.
  2. Log in to your existing account or create a new one.
  3. Click on the Volunteer tab on the left-hand side of your account dashboard.
  4. Select Find Volunteer Roles and choose the current season.
  5. Select the position you are interested in (e.g., Manager, Coach, Safety Officer, or Concessions) and follow the prompts to provide your background check information.
  6. Wait for an email asking to complete your background check. We may not send these immediately, depending on the position you are volunteering for, but you will be unable to volunteer until you have completed the background check.

All volunteers must complete a background check annually per Little League International regulations. If you have questions regarding volunteer roles, please contact our volunteer coordinator at .

Important Notes

  • All volunteer services require a signed volunteer sheet for tracking and verification.
  • Hours must be completed during the season and properly documented.
  • Refunds will be processed after volunteer hours are verified.
