Major League Division

The Major Division is the premier level for our experienced players. This division offers a higher level of competition and is the final stage of play on the standard Little League diamond before players transition to larger fields.

Division Overview

  • Primary Focus: Advanced skill development, strategic gameplay, and refined situational awareness.
  • Format: Full Player-Pitch with standard Little League rules. This division emphasizes competitive play while maintaining the core values of sportsmanship.
  • Age Group: Typically serves players ages 9-12.
  • Tournament Opportunities: Players in this division are eligible for selection to "All-Stars" and the International Tournament trail, which culminates in the Little League World Series.

Rules

The Majors represent the highest level of play on the standard 60-foot diamond.

  • Pitching: Full player-pitch with advanced rules. A pitcher who delivers 41 or more pitches in a game cannot play the position of catcher for the remainder of that day.
  • Game Length: Regulation games are 6 innings long.
  • Tournament Rules: This division follows the official International Tournament rules, which include specific regulations for "All-Star" eligibility and play-off structures.
  • Equipment: All bats must meet the USA Baseball (USABat) standard to be eligible for use.
